Feb 2012"I am currently serving with the British Army and I have suffered from fibromyalgia for many years. Whilst serving in Cyprus I was referred to the physio dept in the local military hospital which had a Back Mobiliser. The effect after a few days was quite remarkable and I found that I could stand properly erect and had greater mobility in my pelvic region for the first time in a number of years. I decided then to buy one for myself."
Mar 2011"Intense pain caused by a fragmentary fracture to the upper humerus coupled with secondary fracture, as well as muscle and ligament damage, led me try the Mobiliser. It helped me enormously by diffusing the pain in my shoulder and more particularly, day-by-day, easing out the tension building up through the rest of my body as it compensated for restrictions of movement. It felt like a "detoxification" of pain and I built up use of the Mobiliser to several sessions a day. I hired it for over 3 months and regret having let it go, although most of the benefits have stayed with me. FdR, Cambridgeshire"
Dec 2010"I have chronic back problems, which I have suffered with over the last 22 years, following latest tests, it has been confirmed that I have multilevel degeneration of the discs coupled with severe crumbling of the spine far in advance of my years (I am a 49 yr old female) I am also waiting to find out whether I also have a condition called Arachnoiditis. Oh and have Fibromyalgia. A month ago I was very kindly leant one of your back mobilisers by Andy Kingman. I must admit I was sceptical as physio's will no longer treat me because they are unable to help, and are frighted of doing more harm than good. I naturally was nervous about it being harmful and experiencing more pain. I have been very surprised and verypleased by the effect of using the mobiliser most days. The initial change was to my sleep, it used to be my maximum being in one stretch 3/4 hours, then restless sleep because all movement caused severe pain, my sleep went overnight to 5/6 hours and now some nights I get 6/7. I am much more mobile, this has been commented on by friends, who have watched me struggle to maintain fitness over the last 8 months due to my pain levels. My pain levels are still high, but increased mobility has meant I have been able to carry out more exercise to hopefully strength my spine so that I can stabilise its effect on daily life and pain experienced. I am currently unemployed, and a single parent, so purchase of a machine in the near future sadly is unlikely, however, it is something I will hopefully be able to afford in the future, and now I know how much I can benefit, is on the priority list. I wish I'd heard about this machine sooner, but I am so grateful to Andy Kingman and Back In Action for discovering its benefits now."
Nov 2010"I would just like to write and compliment the staff at the Bristol Branch. I went into the shop about a month ago as I needed to find a chair with posture support which had been recommended for me by Occupational health and I had found out about back in action from doing a search on the internet. Luke was very helpful not pushy and after talking about chairs and why I needed one offered me a session on the mobiliser, it was very strange and suffering from a back problem at the time didn't know how I would react. Anyway to cut a long story short my husband and I went back to the shop the following Saturday and spent two hours there, nothing was too much trouble we were given helpful advice from Kate and Fiona and I ended up buying a pair of MBT's and hiring a mobiliser for a month. It was so refreshing to have friendly, knowledgeable staff without any pressure to buy. I have just returned from the shop now after purchasing a new mobile, I couldn't face life without one. I do have to sell my car to buy it, so if anyone out there wants to buy a Nissan Almeria great condition with very low mileage give me a shout!! People are very quick to criticise but very slow to praise and I wanted to praise all the staff in Bristol and say keep up the good work, who knows if a job comes up I might even apply!! Thanks again folks you are great!! "
Jul 2009"Having for years suffered back spasms, I yearned for relief, finally finding the Mobiliser at Back in Action. It was sent to me promptly in NZ under trying circumstances and after two months use has completely eliminated the spasms. A real bonus has been the improvement in my golf due, I suspect, to the greater flexibility in my spine. Aged 74, I've gone from a safe 10 to playing near enough scratch golf in those two months, based on my new-found ability to turn freely."
Mar 2009"Thank you very much. I have been contacted by Anthony in Marlow and the order has been finalised and paid for with delivery on Thursday. Thank you all for your prompt management of our custom, it is really appreciated. Your company has been a delight to deal with and I will recommend you to anyone who may benefit. I will continue to fill in the mobiliser diary. I have complex problems and it may eventually help someone else. Thank you."
Dec 2008"I brought the Mobiliser home last saturday & have noticed huge differences already! I actually noticed them within 48 hours. But I have to say the first 24 hours were hard. I used the Mobi on Saturday after bringing it home & by midnight, I felt pretty rough & my back was very uncomfortable.I broke my lower back during childbirth so I was quite nervous that it may be making things worse & maybe I was one of the few that shouldn't be using this etc. I very nearly decided to stop using it. I woke the next morning & read all the info that came with it & it inspired me to persevere, so I did & I haven't looked back. By day 3, I was not finding it uncomfortable anymore whilst using it. The biggest benefit I noted early on was how much easier I could bend down to get things from the floor! My sleep has been a lot easier with no waking in the night, stiff & seized! Fab, I love it. So does my husband. He didn't have any injuries as such & suffered more with the typical stiff shoulder blades, from using a computer. He loves it & uses it to relax in the evening. I put a towel over the bed at the moment because I found the nobbles on the wheels had bruised me a bit but I am now thinking I may remove the towel now as I am really getting used to it now. Thanks for inventing this!"
Oct 2008"After having a session on a Mobiliser at your Bristol office I had the best nights sleep for months & months. I have rented one for a month, if only after one session it gave results like that, myself and my partner are really looking forward to the forthcoming benefits. After this morning's session I'm already feeling rejuvenated."
May 2007"Just a quick note to say thank you for sending me along to see an osteopath. (I came along on Feb 17th to try the Mobiliser... you said my sacroiliac joint alignment was out). I actually need a hip replacement. (Severe advanced osteoarthritis of the hip and avascular necrosis... so one hopes the op might be soon). Not wonderful news but goodness knows how much longer the hip might have gone unspotted / untreated whilst everyone was focussed on 'my back problem'. Bizarre that you suggested an osteopath rather than a physiotherapist... but thank you so much!"
