MobiliserMobiliser Diary
Alistair's Diary Summary
Initial condition
I have Multiple Sclerosis and three years ago I had a prolapsed disc, I think that the Mobiliser has confirmed that most of my problems are as a result of the prolapsed disc and not the MS. I shall be seeing my GP next week to get referred to a specialist to determine what is wrong with my back.
End of Day 1
The first effect I noticed was that, after using the Mobiliser in the shop, the car journey back from Bristol seemed far less bumpy,- this has continued. It has greatly improved my posture. My right side used to be weaker than the left, this has been corrected - this was a particular problem when using my wheelchair.
End of Month 2
I can now lift my right leg up much more easily making walking upstairs much easier i.e. not having to help my leg up with my hands.
I can now stand and walk much further than before without getting fatigued and I can sit down quite easily afterwards, which I couldn't before. I no longer fall backwards when I sit down. I have had to shorten my walking stick by about 1 1/2 inches so I am clearly standing much straighter.
This is the only thing I have used in the past 15 years that has improved my condition.

But apart from these things it hasn't really done anything!

Alistair would also like to emphasise the following
“I have MS but, believe all of the problems that I have had, and that now have improved since using the Mobiliser, are as a result of a prolapsed disc that I had three years ago. There is no indication that the Mobiliser is of any benefit to people who suffer from Multiple Sclerosis”
