CG lock is a relatively new product that previously has been used in the specialist field of motor cross and racing driving, in which it has already saved lives and prevented serious injury. Here at Back in Action we have been trialing it as we do all our products and found that it could prove very beneficial for our customers suffering from back pain/injury.
The function of the CG Lock is to stabilise the hips whilst cornering; so preventing the spine from distorting and causing referred pain when driving. This could prove very beneficial to sufferers of lower lumbar pain, conditions such as scoliosis, lower SI issues, prolapsed discs, pelvic issues etc as it prevents twisting of the vertebra and compression of the intervertebral discs.

How it works
It works by securing the seatbelt preventing it slip and loosen. This security prevents the body sliding down in the seat whilst driving and especially when you brake hard. Often in accidents the driver and passengers in the car can sustain more injury to the lower limbs and spine, due to slipping under the seatbelt waist strap.
CG Lock encorages the correct posture
With the CG Lock you are held securely in place so fewer distortions of the spine can occur. We at Back in Action have found that the best possible option is to use it with a seat wedge in place on the seat to raise the hips higher than the knees, as long term that is the best solution to preventing lower back pain.
Will it fit my vehicle?
The CG-Lock is designed to fit most vehicles. The CG-Lock is not designed however to work with vehicle seat belt systems that use a multi-pass seat belt tongue. Please review this information before ordering your CG-Lock!
