It can be hard mowing your lawn when your having problems with your back, it becomes a painful chore, and can have serious knock on effect as you twist and turn adapting the way you move to avoid that painful twinge. Ultimately you'll need to to tackle the root problems, but in the mean time this is an ideal solution to reduce the strain you put on your back.

For those that struggle to find time between work, home and play, these robotic mowers can completely free up your time throughout the glorious summer, and you can quite literally forget about mowing your lawn forever.
Set Up
We offer a service to local customers where we come along peg the wire out, set the mower up, and get it going, while you have a cup of tea.
Due to the way the mower cuts, we can get the set up 99% right, but you may find little sections around perimeter where the mower has just missed, these little adjustment can easily be done by yourself or a friend, and we'll show you how to do it during the day.
This is a chargeable and varies according to the proximity to our Amersham Store.
If you want to give it ago yourself, you are provided with an instructional DVD, ruler to messure the distance from the edge of your lawn, and a starter pack of pegs and wire, all you need is a rubber mallet.
Once you've peg out the wire, you'll need to conect it to the perimeter switch that send a small current around the wire, which the mower detects. Its the electro magnetic field that the wire generates that keeps the mower mowing within the wire.
And then your ready to watch it go.

Features
The Robomows are environmentally friendly (WEEE and RoHS compliant), strong, durable, and UV protected robotic mowers, designed to mow you lawn 2-6 days a week, depending on your lawn size and personal preferences. With multiply cutting heights you can maintain your lawn at the ideal length with minimal effort.
They have been tried and tested on all UK grass types and not had a problem. I once even tested it in a meadow with 12” high grass. Although with this long grass it couldn't completely mulch, it impressively cut the grass down to size and once the clipping were cleared it was able to maintain the lawn without any assistance.
All the mowers are equipped with a rain sensor that automatically stops the mower from its weekly program and returns to base. This is because wet grass clipping stick to the underside of the mower, as it would with any other mower, and increases the frequency that it will require cleaning. The feature can be switched off, but in normal circumstances, I would leave it on.
They all have LCD display and easy scroll through menus for you to manually adapt the preferences, and should you ever have any problems with the more, the error message will pop up on this screen, allowing you to locate the problem.
Should the mower have any problem that is not fixable over the phone, the UK service center will collect, repair, and re-deliver the mower to you within a week. It is always best to hold onto the original box to allow for safe transit.
Clippings
One of the many great features about Robomow is that you don't need to worry about emptying clippings, nor does it leave them scattered on the lawn. It mulches them, cutting them into tiny pieces, that then break down, decompose and become natural fertilizer for your lawn. You will find that within just a few weeks your lawn will become more lush and green.
Safety
All these Mowers are equipped with numerous safety devices to make these wonderfully safe.
Firstly to put your mind at ease, the mower is completely unable to mow outside of the perimeter wire, unless you are manually controlling it.
Child guards to prevent children from manually starting the blades.
Bumpers and tilts sensors that instantly stop the blades should it bump into anything, or lifted up.
And a 5 minute warning before the mower automatically departs and starts its mow.
Of course there is a degree of common sense required. Lawns should be clear of anything that could pass under the mower undetected and damage the blade, and we do advise that animals are keep away from the mower while its in operation.

The RM200 is the entry level mower, but not to be underestimated. It is strong, sturdy and reliable, and will suit lawns up to 250m².

The RM400 is almost identical to the RM200. It the same size, looks the same, has exactly the same features, but what you get for a little bit more money is a docking station. You won't need to worry about bring this mower in after it finished mowing, or taking it out when you want it to start. This mower will dock and charge automatically after every mow and will then follow a weekly program and automatically go out to mow at the designated times. This allows the mower to cover up to 400m².
