7 Important Tripp Trapp Tipps!

• The Tripp Trapp chair fits everyone - from 5 ½ months of age to adulthood.
• Tripp Trapps convert easily into an highchair using a Baby Set. (For babies from 5-6 months up to about 14-18 months). Only add one Baby set per family.
• If you want your child to sit comfortably at their grand-parents consider buying them a Tripp Trapp, Sitti or Handysitt
• The Tripp Trapp has machine washable cushions that fit the chair whether it is set up as a high chair or the standard chair. These can really personalise the chair. The cushions come in two parts: a backrest cover and a seat cover. We suggest you just fit back rest cover until your child is out of nappies. This allows easier cleaning of the seat, more comfort for your child, and it's easier to get your baby in and out, too.
• Consider using a different colour baby set. Play with the effect on our unique system above. Whatever combination we'll have it in stock.
• If you are ordering a Tripp Trapp Baby Set we strongly recommend you use a safety harness. There are two choices.. Stokke's own is purpose designed, and contains special clips which fit onto the Tripp Trapp to allow attachment to the chair. This means Stokke's harness is the safest.
• Looking at the comfort of you and your child then Stokke's harness has its clip at the front. This means you can leave the harness on the chair and just lift your child in and out. It also means that your child doesn't have to lean against a big clasp behind their back. NB Stokke's harness needs normal adult strength fingers and a knack to open it... squeeze it between the base of your thumb and index finger rather than the finger tips.
• You'll need to wash your harness often, so either be very careful while its in the wash (you'll be used to your baby being protected) OR buy a second harness (perhaps the cheaper non-Stokke one?)
• PLEASE buy your Tripp Trapp from us! (Okay, we admit it... that tip is for our benefit too!)
