Back when Back in Action began in 1987, the showroom was located in Cookham. Over the years as the company has grown we have opened different locations.
Now, the very exciting news! Back in Action is expanding once more, and as part of that journey, we’re moving from our Amersham branch to a brand-new location back in Cookham.
It's like Back in Action is coming home
This move includes our warehouse, showroom, and head office, and marks a major step forward for us as we continue to grow and improve your experience with us.
As part of the move, our much-loved Amersham showroom will be closing to customers from 1st November. It’s been a fantastic chapter for us in Amersham, and we’re genuinely sad to say goodbye after so many years. However, we are incredibly excited about what’s next.
To make this move happen smoothly, we’ll be temporarily closing for up to three weeks starting from 30th October 2025. Our London, Marlow and Bristol showrooms will remain open as usual. During this time, there may be some disruption to our usual service, and we really appreciate your patience while we settle into our new home.
Our new showroom and HQ will be based in Cookham, and we can’t wait to welcome you there very soon with an even better experience and space to explore everything Back in Action has to offer.

In store you can browse at leisure, try things out & if you would like our help we are alwasy on hand. We love to chat back pain, often have tips for easy instantly fixes, and we can show you how things work.
We are also great at helping people find the best solution by phone if you can't visit (although nothing beats actually sitting in the furniture).
