Zero Gravity

What do we mean by Zero gravity? and why is it such a good thing?

The Zero Gravity position was developed by NASA to mimic the body's neutral body position, found when astronaughts were studied in Zero gravity. For this position we are looking for the head to be slightly above the heart (between 5-30 degrees elevation), and the legs to be slightly bent and around heart level

This position has been used by NASA in order to help astronouts get used to the feeling of zero gravity before going to space. The thing is, the position was found to have loads of benefits:

  • Improved Circulation
  • Less heartburn and acid reflux
  • Less snoring and better breathing
