Revive: 100% Recycled polyester - Varier's entry Level Fabric. Hard wearing and Vegan but not as soft on the skin as other options. If you wear shorts or skirts in summer we suggest an upgrade to something softer like Forest Nap, Divina or Dinamica.
Re-Wool: Crafted using 45% recycled wool, Re-wool is a rich upholstery textile with a sustainable profile. The textile is partly made by reusing scraps from Kvadrat’s yarn spinners in the UK.
Fiord: A versatile 92% Wool upholstery textile with a subtle three-dimensional look. The construction of Fiord combines a mélange yarn with a unicoloured yarn that creates pearl-like dots that play across the textile’s surface.
Melange Nap: Extremely soft yet durable, Melange Nap appears to be brushed. It is 97% Wool constructed with a unicoloured and a melange yarn, which creates a graphic pattern of tiny dots that play across its surface.
Vidar 3: The 94% Wool gentle satin surface finish of the weave contrasts with the deep shadowy tones in the depths, giving a multifaceted richness to the intense colours in the range.
Divina: A 100% Wool full-cloth product, very similar to the properties of felt.
Divina Melange 3: A vibrant piece-dyed 100% wool upholstery textile reminiscent of felt. Cheerfully simple, it comes in a fresh, versatile palette. Compact, comfortable and extremely smooth!
Hallingdal 65: Made of 70% wool and 30% viscose, which complement each other well: the wool provides excellent durability and flexibility, whilst the viscose adds brilliance and depth to the colour.
Dinamica: The most popular choice in our stores. Hard wearing, hypo-allergenic, smooth, eco friendly, easy to clean and luxurious Vegan polyester-blend. Ideal for everyday & summer use; read more about this amazing fabric HERE
Noir (Semi Aniline): Noir is a versatile leather boasting a smooth surface texture and a matt look with a subtle shine. As a Semi-aniline, full-grain leather, the natural markings are visible, adding authenticity and originality.

Why is the Variable Plus chair so good?
The Variable Plus is based on the iconic Variable, one of the greatest chairs ever designed. The Variable Plus encompasses Backinaction's three core essentials of healthy sitting: Movement, Balance, and Forward Tilt. And yet, moment by moment, without any knobs to adjust, the integrated backrest of the Plus allows users to have an "ahhhh" moment. In short the Plus feels joyful, an amazing sitting experience.
The movement from the curved frame increases core fitness whilst the split front pads allow lots of leg movement, creating improved leg circulation. The carefully positioned backrest is there when you need it, so that our clients report being comfortable for up to 10 hours of sitting.
Variable Plus easily fits those from 5ft 2 to 5Ft 10 /11. For shorter adults and children there is an accessory available. For those with long thighs or over 5ft 11 the Plus can fit, but please contact us to discuss, or choose the Actulum (which is a "kneeling chair" with no knee pads!) or Thatsit Chair (which is adjustable for thigh length). We keep Variable Plus, Actulum and Thatsit for fast delivery in some wonderful fabrics and colours.
