Hallingdal 65: Made of 70% wool and 30% viscose, which complement each other well: the wool provides excellent durability and flexibility, whilst the viscose adds brilliance and depth to the colour.

The Varier Actulum is a fantastic office chair, but it is also a great dining chair. We find that it is very versatile. If you haven’t tried active sitting before, then the Actulum is a good place to start, because it can be used in multiple areas of the house.
We would say yes! Kneeling chairs were originally designed as ‘Balans’ chairs, with the goal of helping you maintain a good posture through balance. This kind of balancing often includes kneepads and kneeling – but it doesn’t need to. The goal is to just encourage you to tuck your knees under the chair.
Though The Actulum allows for a range of more relaxed positions, it also fits into the kneeling chair category. It does this by simply allowing you to tilt into the same position that you would use with kneeling chairs (like the Variable). This “kneeling” position automatically shifts you into a more upright posture.
So no, the Actulum does not have knee pads, but it does encourage a “kneeling” balanced posture!
We find the Actulum works well with most people at standard height desks, though your height and sitting preferences can have an impact on this. We’d suggest using an adjustable desk or bringing your desk measurements into our store for advice. We can use your desk measurement and set you up at one of our desks (adjusted to the right height) so that you can feel what it will be like in your home set up. However, Varier does offer guidelines on the ideal table/desk height for an Actulum. They suggest tabletops that are roughly 71 cm to 76 cm high.
