The HAG Capisco is a fantastic chair that boasts ultimate flexibility in seating position and movement. One aspect that can completely change how you can use the chair is how high you will sit.
The gas lift determines the range of seat heights for your chair, so it’s important to find the right one for you. There are a few factors to consider when making your decision, and we can help! The best way to find the perfect fit is to test them out in store or give us a call on 0207 935 9120. Our excellent team members will be happy to discuss your requirements and help you find the perfect gas lift.
Here’s a quick guide to the different height ranges for each gas lift::
150 (~44cm - 57cm) This has the smallest range of seating height options so would only typically be useful if your desk height was significantly under 70cm and you needed very little range.
200 (~50cm - 68cm) This seat range we find can be suitable for most average height desks and can be suitable for many people using adjustable height desks.
265 (~58cm - 84cm) This has the biggest range of seating height options but typically will not be comfortable for use at a standard height desk. Perfect for taller people and those that like to perch at their sit stand desk.
The Capisco is a ground breaking chair that is perfect for anyone struggling to find comfort in conventional furiture.
The Capisco from HAG pairs beautifully with sit to stand desking (something all our staff have and we strongly recommend) and can help increase energy, boost productivity and reduce back pain.
We recommend a really hard wearing fabric on this like Capture, Razzle Dazzle, ReWool or Leather as this is a chair you will have for many years. Its looks wonderful in bold colours because of its unusual silhouette.
We find the HÅG Capisco's ergonomic saddle seat design allows more variation in seated posture than any other chair on the market. The Capisco is also the only chair that is equally comfortable at standard desk height and semi-standing height. It supports you in a conventional ergonomic sitting posture or in a 'Balans' balanced posture, with thighs angled downwards, keeping the spine naturally straight.
There is nothing not to love about the Capisco. It is one of the most elegant and versatile office chairs in our entire collection. The T-shaped design means that you can enjoy either a back support or front support, and you can also adjust the height to use your Capisco as a stool for perching. It is highly adjustable and perfect for taller desk workers.
We think everyone should try the Capisco at least once. We’re confident you’ll soon understand why we love it so much.
